I can relate to the snobbery of newer BMW owners but from a little different perspective. I drive a 1972 BMW 2002tii. One of my favorite sayings ever is "BMW built my car, before society built snobs". It sucks to get lumped into "the rest" of the BMW owners out there, whether in Bimmers or on Beamers.
Also, some people are just anti-social dicks no matter what they ride or drive.

completely random prick encounter, they're everywhere and they ride all sorts. some people just shut down when they encounter a friendly extrovert. sad really. if it'd been me you spoke to, we'd prolly be riding bud's by now. everybody needs at least 1 bmw in the garage. here's my 3, the airhead is my cafe' project and is in 1000 pieces.
