Metalflake helmet + JT Mask....

NoobZooki

The night's on fire!
What do you get when you add a 3/4 helmet and a JT Racing mask together?

I am kinda stuck between inside or outside mount... And should I leave the mask white or paint it black? Opinions welcome.

So.... $100 for the mask and $50 for the helmet. Quite pricey for something that I won't be wearing very often but it looks cool sitting in the garage next to my bike.

Mount it inside. they never seem to look right, to me, on the outside. And I'd paint it black. something other than black might be cool, too. Just not white. I run something like this during the warmer seasons. These cold days, it's my new modular helmet and a neck gaiter!

I haven't really figured out how to mount it on the inside yet. I mean, yeah, I know that most people would use button snaps on the leather flap but I have no idea what to buy lol.

What does the tool look like? How do I know what size button snaps to get? Help me please? Links would be appreciated. :)

Are these the tools I need?

What about the buttons? What size do I need?

Not to be negative but keep in mind that those face masks wont do much to protect your face in the event of a crash. Just throwing that out there incase it concerns you.

The helmet's not going to do any good either, so there you go ;)

I guess i wasnt very clear in my first post. Im not going to wear this helmet while riding. Its simply garage art. Yes, i know that this helmet is over 30 years old. I know that the technology in helmets has changed very much. So yeah, its simply gonna sit on tge shelf and look cool.

I have crashed riding motorcycles before and i was very thankful that i was fully suited up and wearing a full face helmet. That crashed helmet has been replaced with a new one but i still keep the crashed as a reminder.

Now lets get back on topic. What will i need to rivet those button snaps on the leather ear flaps?

Something like this.
