MGD's 2007 Buell Blast Tracker

BlueCB360

Been Around the Block
Ok, so it's the wife's Buell. She doesn't spin wrenches anyway.

But she does know how to spend money.

Lower rise bars, V&H exhaust(seriously less than half the stocker in weight)

and the tracker seat/cowl combo. Reading up on the stock tires,(Dunlops) these things need to go.

I had to fab up an aluminum bracket for the rear directionals.

This seat/rear cowl didn't come as a complete kit for the street.

Also I had to source some industrial strength Velcro to attach the seat pan.

Reason being the seat needs to be removable to access the hardware holding down the cowl.

Under all that is the battery, so I certainly need to access it at times.

Jet kit on the way.

Hmm..not sure what to think of this here. It's (to me) a bit out of place because there's no customizing or serious fabbing done..

Now chop those ugly ass front and rear peg supports and i'll delete my comment ;)

I have three to four bikes getting my attention these days.

Rest assured, this is a big project, I have to start somewhere.

You are right though, rearsets are a must.

Ah thank god! ;)

Jet kit installed. For what you get in the kit I'm glad I found the cheapest one available.

6 Sigma makes the kit I grabbed for under $60.00 shipped, V&H was over $85.00, plus shipping.

It's not much more than needle shims, two main jets, a pilot jet, and two drill bits.

Even the info on the paperwork is online, so that's basically free.

No pictures, my hands were covered in gasoline.

Wow, good deal!

By the way: Hands need to be covered in gasoline, pussy or motorcycle gloves at all times, so you're doing it right!

I'll have to remember to wear my riding gloves in the bedroom, bonus points you know.
