Mid-Ohio pics

Nice pictures
I was there racing the #1 F1 sidecar.
We were leading the last lap and had the race won????
Till we spun at the end of the straight and I got to do some high speed body surfing.
Thats racing

Lots of nice bikes and do you believe the swap meet?
I only got to see a fraction.

Aw man, sorry to hear about the spin out. It was a great weekend. The swap meet was crazy. I didn't really pick anything up because I didn't have much room to haul anything back. See you next year ;D

Thanks for sharing the pics. Always wanted to go. Guess I will have to make a bigger effort to get there.

MidOhio was great, was this you? Or was there another B'mer in the sidecar race?

WHoooooooa, Nasty.
Everyone make it outa that one ok?

P.S. those race bikes are too pretty to be crashin. Gotta love vintage road racers. Best of both worlds I suppose.

Pilot ok
Co-pilot(me)- well I made it to work on Monday.
My job in this situation is to hang on for as long as I can so the rig does not flip and cart wheel.
Sucks losing it on the last lap in first place heading to the checkerd flag.
We (modern sidecars)were invited guest of AHRMA(vintage racing organization).to help boost sidecar racing in that part of the USA .
We did put on a good show and all looked very interested.

I thought you guys were doing a great job, seemed like you smoked everyone else on the track. Too bad about the spinout. Was that back around turn 7?

Thanks Jim
We crashed at the end of the back straight away, dropped two gears and as soon as we started to brake from around 150mph the backend came around and we headed for the wall on the right side. When we hit the grass we did a 180. Going backwards across the track(at the corner) the rig did another 180 this is when I had to let go because I was in front of the rig heading for the sand pit and runoff. Got up right away and jumped on but the back tire was stuck in the sand. Good thing because the chair wheel was pointing the wrong way.
That’s racing
