Mike's XS

AlphaDogChoppers

Science is true whether you believe in it or not.
I just placed an order with Mike's XS yesterday for a bunch of stuff. It was mostly carburetor jets and brake caliper rebuild parts.

I just wanted to say what a great resource Mike's XS is. Really good info, including downloadable PDF files, that help you identify your model bike, what carbs it has, and jetting advice. Good prices, too. Jets were $6.50 a pair, and I have been paying $6.00 ea. for jets elsewhere. I ordered a whole slew of jets to make sure I had 4 ea of a selection of jet sizes from 130 to 155 in both large round jets and small round jets. This will make it easy anytime a bike comes into my shop that needs jetting. (4 of each jet so I can do 4 cyl bikes.)

My order is shipping today. I am looking forward to getting my new carb floats and brake parts to put this baby on the road.

I ordered a few bit's n bobs yesterday.
Always had real quick delivery so I'm expecting stuff by Wednesday

I'm about to pull the trigger on the 750cc kit.... I think. Came within 1 click of it once already but couldn't bring myself to do it.

I have been "this close" to ordering their keihin carbs a dozen times. Same with the 750 kit. I am pretty happy with their reverse megaphones, although one of them has a wee rattle in it. the bike likes em though. Fast shipping was a plus. Not terribly happy with their pamco ignitions constantly being out of stock (in canada anyways).

All in all makes owning a XS650 a hell of a lot easier.

Pete says he's making more ignitions shortly. I've been in contact with him about the 277 kit I'm going to need.
