ok guys, be gentle...

I purchased a set of vm30's with pods from DCC. I was missing a great deal of parts with the stock setup.

I have a few questions...

What additional items do i need to make these work? Ive heard that ill need a different throttle setup.
if so what type?

Is mounting as easy as popping them in to the stock rubber inlets?

Anything else im missing?

Manifolds are sometimes needed, sometimes not. New throttle cable for sure, though.

javie09, I have a set of VB29A carbs that I believe are for a gl500.

There are Motion Pro cables floating around EBay for old Honda twins with VMs. I have VM32s on a 70 CB450 and after some jetting work, work very well.

manifolds are not required, stock manifolds are what you use to convert CB 350 twins to Mikuni's. You can source universal cables from snowmobile parts suppliers and modify the throttle end to suit(that's what I did) good luck
