I picked this little pig up about 8 years ago for $200. It was a stock bike that hadn't seen the road since 1990. I promptly took it to my garage, started taking it apart, and forgot about it for years... (My garage is 20 minutes from my house and contains many projects)
At the end of last winter I decided to get on it. I took it home and parked it in my living room, removing my #1 excuse. Accomplishing something small every week really adds up on these little things. So... she lives. What a fun little ride!
And: Recovered!!!
Through the power of social media and motorcycle community the word was out. Around 4:00 yesterday my phone blew up with sightings. We tracked it down to a neighborhood and were waiting for another sighting when I got a text forwarded to me from some dude I don"t even know. It was my bike in a back yard complete with address. He then told me the cops were pulling up already.
Some minor damage occurred but who cares at this point?
Thanks Everyone!

Some random guys grabbed it. The next day a guy was riding it around and I got a bunch of calls from people that saw it. The cops got a bunch of calls too. We tracked them down to a particular neighborhood and had a house we suspected but we didn't know for sure or if it was there still. Then I got a photo texted to me from some dude I don't even know of it hidden in that back yard. I told the cop I had been dealing with and he moved in and nailed them.
