Momentary switch for headlights

Been Around the Block
I recently bought a 3 button Motogadget M-switch hoping to control, low beam, high beam and horn. It states that the buttons can control anything electrical, but all three are momentary buttons. So wiring for the horn is easy, but how can I have the two remaining buttons control lights high and low beam? Any ideas?

Thanks

You need a latching relay where the set button is the same as the reset button. These are few and far between and I haven't had much luck in finding them on regular basis.

Short answer: Those switches don't work unless you have an m-unit.

That's what I was afraid of. Wish they were a bit more explicit about that as none of their reseller vendors make any mention of it anywhere either. But, it's my job to do the research, so no complaints.

Thanks

Thanks Wolfie, interesting stuff. Not very detailed description, have you ever uses any of these modules?
