I was just about to ask the same question! My TX650 is in pieces now and I'm looking for a neat front end setup, fork and brakes...

Looks like stock XS forks and calipers, just swapped left/right so calipers sit in front of leg.
Personally I wouldn't do it as I've seen calipers break off fork leg mounted that way (even though Kawasaki did it for years on heavier bikes)

They ARE stock calipers, but they were NOT swapped left from right. That's how they came stock on the 73's

This is my 73 and the front brakes are stock.

Of course Whitexk's bike is superb and makes any stock part look custom, because of attention he pays to detail.
