hey, when you go to get your wheels PC'd we could turn them in together and maybe get a slight discount...

the carbs are easier than you think....

by the way, ill help you tear the engine down if you help me figure out why my blinkers arent blinking.

That top one is just sick! I can make you a set like mine if you'd like. I can make them work with bulbs if you don't want the leds.
 
yeah, i think i got it off of adventure rider???? if i remember correctly the guy built it for his wife who drove it once and its been rotting in his garage. id give him 600 for that thing! i also really like front deflector... looks like its off of a buell? its just so damn difficult to find a pedal or just a 50cc top tank moped here in milw. by the way, that would be awesome with the LED harness using the stock controls. im still tyring to find some cateyes for the front.
 
forgot to post this... im getting out of the idea of HAVING to get a top tank... why not make my own!?
by the way, any of us could do a better job than this, but still... looks ok.

PM me with the features your looking for (stock replacement or programable patterns like mine.) and I'll start working on a set for you. I found the problem with my bike: the diaphram in the top of the right carb is blown out.

I have a 1971 Motobecane in my basement. Was given to me by the original owner who bought it new for his wife. I took it apart and need to get it back on the road. It's vintage 1970's orange and white. I even bought brand new orange vinyl saddlebags for it with white piping.

Not gonna cafe it though. Wouldn't work. I'd rather take a 50cc motorcycle and do that.

yeah. pretty sure i blew something today with the electrical system on the way home from lulus. keept acting like it wasnt getting spark, dying all the time, and the lights were hardly bright, ect. she got layed down a few days ago in the driveway, all i can say is the people who live above me piss me off. so i guess tear down is coming early.

i was thinking... a moped created into a cafe bike is still a cafe... a mod culture bike is totally different. not the best thing to cafe, but when you live in the city its pretty nice...

I dunno, I always thought mopeds should be free, but that one might be worth $100. $700 is just silly.
 
Funny thing - I always complain that people are paying more than 2$/cc for running bikes but my moped was the most expensive bike I ever bought based on $/cc.

49cc / paid 150$.

I don't care what people say about mopeds they can be a hoot to ride.
