MOTO GP

Been Around the Block
season opener playing here in the states right now. im cafe all the way but I love seeing these guys lean in HD. anyone watching?

yeah, it's on TV in the UK now too. I agree, the cornering certainly does make for pretty sweet viewing!!

not sure about the streams... i pay for HD just for the SPEED channel. I love GP. they have a pretty nice MOTO GP AP for smart phones with clips and live updates. $13 though :-\

Definitely get a video pass on Motogp.com You will never watch another race on Speed.

did anyone catch the race this morning? that was nuts... only like 8 finishes with the rain. awesome stuff.

Ha... Yeah. Something about him just really rubs me the wrong way. He is one of the greatest riders to ever grace a track, but I still want to punch him in the neck.

It was "one of those things". You get a brainwave that you can do it and sometimes it doesn't work out. Sorry he took Stoner with him. Its happened to Rossi before and probably everyone else in the field. I reckon the way they were falling if the race had gone another ten laps Rossi might have won!

Rossi admitted he fucked up. Also, Marco Simoncelli was bitching about marshals not helping him either. And as far as poopy pants 27, saying Rossi's ambition outweighed his talent......................please. One thing's for sure, this Moto GP season is going to be exciting.

i love ducati's but you have to wonder why TWO former world champions cant even keep up with the pack. they are rolling one step above suzuki right now. if it wasnt for the rain rossi and hayden wouldnt have gotten that high in the ranks. they both talked about rain training. the surprise for me was spies. not everyday you see that many americans up the ranks. maybe they wont make a mockery of us this season.

Stoner had the same problem as last year. The Ducati lost the front end and Stoner crashed. If he didn't have bad luck he'd have no luck at all....

The Hondas do seem harder to get started than others in the field, but they are all close to impossible to bump start.

Rest assured guys, Vale will have that Duc at the front soon enough....he carries the clout to get teams to sort it out.
Look what happened when he joined Yamaha a few years back....others were passing him by 20mph down the straights..........didn't stay like that for too long though did it !

"ambition outweighed his talent" what a load of shit, rossi=7 titeles in the premier class, boner=1....... is he really one to talk about talent. and in 07 when boner crashed out at laguna seca was that because his ambition outweighed his talent? even his post race interview was stupid. Its a shame that the two riders in the best physical shape to win are stoner and lorenzo. hopefully dani's sergury goes well today and he regains blood flow to his arm. so he can slap the little bitches. Rossi is god but even god took time to create the earth.

Funny how everybody helped Vale and noone gave a dam bout Casey! ;D

Yes....but - Stoner's Bike was kaput anyway, so pushing would not have helped.

We're lucky here in the UK, as part of the basic satellite package we get TWO first class Sports Channels - Eurosport 1 and 2. We get ALL the major Moto [ 125 / GP2 and Moto GP ] practice, quali and race - AND repeated at least 6 times the following week JIC you missed it live. We also get all the Superbike action and even some Clubman racing. Most forms of 2 wheeled [ and 4 wheel ] sport are catered for.

There's many a spoiled brat in the field that I'd like to punch out before Rossi..........................

I think we're in for one of the best seasons yet. Theres at least half a dozen serious contenders right now, and the championship could be any one of four riders IMO.

Stoner crashed out EXACTLY the same way Rossi did yesterday a few times last year, with the front washing out. It was a racinig incident fair and square, but you *can* feel for the guys frustration, and Im not surprised he said something.
