MotoBits rearsets arrived today!

You're all idiots.
Build quality is excellent.

will get em on this weekend, the install looks pretty simple since they are made specifically for the vertical 175

Heck ya, they are great. I had to get the CB160 type for my frame and once you get the brake linkage setup, it's smooth sailing.

Very nice. I'm going with MotoBits for my 350. Post a pic when you get them installed.

Got impatient and took off from work for a bit yesterday to get them done....

They look great! I'll be adding those to my build too when the time comes to put everything back together. How are you going to work out the exhaust situation regarding interference of the rearsets?

You wouldn't happen to still have said CB160 rearsets would you there rich? I just so happened to acquire a CB160 over the weekend!!!!

Matter of fact, they are still on my scoot. Von and i were gonna use them for mock up purposes over the winter.

Let me talk to him (or you talk to him) and im sure we can work something out.

I believe the foot pegs and toe pieces are anodized, the mounting plates are bare.

any clearance issues with the kickstart arm? I just ordered these up for my 350.

Dan, are you using the stock exhaust with these? I'm getting them for my 350 as well, I'd be interested in seeing them installed with the stock pipes. I have a feeling there is going to be some issues and I'm going to have to make my own exhaust.

They look fantastic though.

i need to wait and see when the rearsets arrive to see if there is clearance problems.

I'm hoping to get a set of open CL pipes anyways..

Here they are on my '73 CB350G. The threaded brake rod wasn't cutting it, so I fashioned one out of 1/4" square steel rod and welded the threaded portions on either end. MUCH stronger; I can actually lock up my 4.00-18 Avon... just barely. They are very nice quality pieces; have had mine for almost a year with no apparent wear. Nice amount of adjust-ability in the design. You can see how I arranged my brake switch no prob; works for me. Beware though: My old friend with his $300+ Raask's now hates me!
