Hi All:

Kit (Mysta2) and I rode out to the salt flats in Oklahoma and took some photos. These are some photos of us riding. Ignore the douchey shots of me. I left the RD400 at home and took the CL350 with my new exhaust system and aluminum seat covered by agirlnamedgo. Kit took his LoudBike, of which I'm sure you're all aware.

Kit has much better pics, so stay tuned.

Don't have much time to post this morning so I might have to change the size of some of these... but, here you go:

we only had a couple of unscheduled stops:

A couple more regular pics of my cafe. I'm promising myself this will be the last iteration.

This is the standard exhaust I offer for sale. Note how gold they got after the long ride. These things really wake up the bike.

Etched brand mark on the exhaust.

Etched logo on the seat. It rained on us a bit, so those are water spots.

How often does your rear tire bottom against that brace between the shocks??

she went down ?!?!?!?!? ;)

:( no. But she did drop the bike on herself... it wasn't a big deal, I did more damage to it riding it there on too small a main jet. It now will not start, wont even kick over... so no pics of me riding it on the salt. Got some of me on Chris's bike though. I'll leave those up to him to post.

Nah, the tire doesn't hit the cross brace much. It did once or twice when I had the preload on the damper wrong. A couple clicks fixed that--even with a passenger.

What passenger? Here is my wife and I opening up the little 350.

Yeah, the cable worked great. Thanks for giving me that!

Ahh.. What a thing of beauty.

The girls are nice as well. ;)

Great work guys. Looking forward to doing something similar soon.

Really like the photos guys. Needless to say, "I want more!" ;D Nice job. My fav so far is the chase photo. Good stuff!

Thanks man. You like the case photo of Kit and I or the one of my wife and I opening the bike up on the salt?

Here are a couple more photos. The first is the of the two bikes. I really like this shot because it shows how we build here in Dallas.

The second shot is of Kit tearing up the salt. Like he said, the model dropped his bike, and afterwards, she would not kick over at all. So Kit borrowed my bike and went on a few high speed runs. The Salt Flats we were on are nothing like Bonneville; ours were much smaller. Still, if you guys ever get the opportunity to open a bike up on some salt, you should really do it. It's a rush like I've never experienced.

Very cool! Love the shot of the two bikes in the last post. Very calendar worthy.

holy crap i wish i had known you had been so close to me, i would have loved to have seen the bikes in real life.

We'll be up there again. All of Chris's "people" are up there.

And if you do open a bike up on the salt, just be careful where you do it... it can make some people very upset :(

Anyway, this is the real reason that I wanted to get a model out there

She makes my shirts look so good :)

... and then there's me

This is what I look like after a day on the salt... I match my shirt. It's a very honest picture and I like it.

Your eyes match your shirt :) that salt gets absolutely everywhere. It whipped into Kit's eyes thoughout the day. I can't believe you could open those at the end of the day.

I like those shirt photos. Those really came out cool.
