My 1st Build. CB650

Saw this over on sohc4 (I'm TS250). You decide to go with a Cone Eng muffler?
 
Still open to different ideas. Really like the raw look with the unfinished welds. Might find a local source. Not sure yet.
 
Nice job! I've been working on an "81 CB650 for about 10 years now, but I've always wanted to hardtail the frame. Did you do any frame work on yours? And what difference did changing out the front end make?
 
Good chance Im starting a 79 CB650 soon, was gonna do my cb750 but... anywho... what were those handlebars you used? They were like a clubman style but didn't arc down, they stayed more flat which I really like! The bike looks great, you have really nice style. Good work!
 
Hey man looks like my same frame. I got an 81. i like how you went with the down angle and hid the hump with your cowl. Im doing the other way and going over the top for a straight look. Filling in the gap and frame with some sheet metal. Love your bike and taillight work or genius right there.
 
Have you got any pics of how you did the electrical (battery, rectifier, etc). I'm having trouble figuring out how to hide mine.
 
81cb650 - can you post some pictures of how you made the straight across look? Is it done? I am finishing my 81CB650C up in the next few weeks and would love to see what seat options people have done.
