Technically not mine yet - get it in 2 weeks (current owner moving to South America - needs it till then). Got a great deal on it. Will make nice change from my 11 year old Honda Civic.

I love the clubman! I feel mini f'ed up when they named it the clubman, should have been named the countryman or the traveler. but good luck with the clubman!

Got it the other day and lovin it so far. Built like a BMW of course, and handles great.

I have driven the standard mini version and they are so much fun to drive hard. Soild choice to replace the old civic! enjoy

apparently BMW didn't buy the rights to clubman:

"The use of the name "Clubman" for the Mini estate van is a break with classic Mini tradition. It was originally the name given to the 1970s facelift of the Mini which mostly resulted in a squarer front end. The classic Mini estates were named either "Traveller" or "Countryman". However, BMW did not purchase the rights to use those names."

edit...ooops... i got it the wrong way round.... :-[ :p ;D

yeah :) I have a '64 countryman, the old mini wagon ;). And I wish BMW could have gotten the rights to use the countryman name, would have been cool.

Been a fun car to drive. Had it into BMW Service today for a squeak I didn't like, and to transfer service records. All warranty covered of course.

The lounge at BMW Toronto has free-wifi, free espresso (good stuff), HDTV, little office setups for people to work in... and of course all the new bikes on the 3rd floor to sit on and dream about. Gear to try on...

Oh, and lets just say the scenery aside from the cars is pretty good too.

Not to hijack, but are there pictures of your 64' around here anywhere?

These guys followed me today. I think they just couldn't get enough of my Clubman. Must have been jealous.
