Mocked up with the battery relocated. I picked up a smaller battery since all I need it to do is light up the headlight, tail, and brakelight.

Can I use a smaller battery if that's all I'm using it for?

yep! i know chris is a big fan of smaller batteries and a few other guys have used them... hit up Joe Traveler he just built his CB550 (the one with the rockcity tank and seat) he used a really small battery and i am sure can give you more info. as long as the bike is kick only it should not be a problem (pending your charging system is on point)

I'm using a 4"X3" sealed battery with I think 5Ah in both my CB200 and my R5 with no problems. cost about $30.

Ok I'm back on track. I've been working non-stop trying to get the bike back on the road before the first snow fall.......

So, I took the bike out for a test ride and on the way home it broke down exactly where I crashed the first time. It was only a blown fuse, but I thought that was pretty weird.

looking good!

you need to change your route and avoid that spot! seems bad things happen...

Love the bike, I just found this thread today. I laughed, I cried.

A quick question, I noticed a while back you were using Hammered paint, did you use it on the frame? If so, could you get some close up shots of the finish? I've been thinking of using the black on a frame of mine.

Mowillie-I didn't do anything with the carbs but clean them when I bought the bike. So, far I haven't had any problems being 5,000 ft. here in Denver.

Gweens- I'll get some close up picks as soon as I get my other camera battery charged.

Cool, thanks! What is your opinion of it? Does it go on easy, is it durable?

Whoa! Didn't see that coming!!!
The masking tape blue threw me off on the color scheme.
Nice and unique.... Congrats!

You are thinking with the altidue adjustment... those of us closer to sea level would have had issues.
