an here's where I'm at now...

still lots of work to do. not sure where I'm gonna go with the tank, maybe try hammering some knee inserts. As for the badges, what do you guys think? Off/On not sure

I'd spray the badges flat black, and then take a sander to the raised letters to give it back it's shine.

And I'd do some knee inserts for sure.


I'd ditch the reflectors on the front.

yeah, i like the white on black, just didn't know if I was gonna stick with the badges or decals. I think I might just stay with the badges, keep it classic.

Badges look more finished and decals look cheap sometimes. Just depends on the bike sometimes. I like small /subdued cast emblems like Honda wings etc. over decals and cast lettering even.

I liked it when manufactures didn't have to plaster their name all over a bike and people STILL knew what it was.
Kinda like a Coke bottle or a Lamborghini Countach.

When you saw a CBX coming at you you KNEW it was a Honda. They could have taken the badging off and you would still know what it was from a mile away.
