My band's demo recordings

Been Around the Block
My band (the Suicide Shifts, formerly known as the Wingnuts) just finished cutting our demo last night. It was a blast getting into the studio and laying down the tracks. If we get enough good reactions to the demo we're planning on pressing a limited run of cds and selling them at shows and off the myspace page. Check it out if you're so inclinded, feedback is always welcome (unless you don't like it, then for the love of god keep your mouth shut, we're sensitive artists!!)

Enjoy!!

a little brian setzer in there. voice is nice for rockabilly.
I know this is totally crazy but, I have been waiting to hear a rockabilly cover of buckwheat zydaco's toottoot.

Sweet boogie shuffle and some nice licks to boot!, is your lead axe on tubes? has kind of a vibroverb sound,or maybe peavy classic? either way, sounds great, captures the rockabilly genre on the wiskey track.
look forward to hearing some more!

Tim plays an Ibanez hollow body with some smokin hot humbuckers in it. Anyone else wouldn't be able to make it sound like it does through the perpetual feedback but he uses that as part of his sound. He's running a Fender 2x12 cab with a power amp (not sure what brand) and a digitech floor board, not sure what kind of effects he's got dialed in on the digi but it sounds freaking sweet.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

What are you playing on these tracks?

I've got some tracks up as well...

My own project: Improvised noisey free form guitar

My band: One track. Not a good rep of what we play. Our drummer isn't even on this. However, there should be some more tracks up soon. We're going on a mini-tour thing of a few stops in Ontario.

I play bass in this project. I also play a little guitar, but bass is my mainstay.

Dig your sound!!!
