Been working on my cb for a little over a year now and only became a member of dtt about a month ago. I started a build thread on sohc4 but would like to start posting my progress on here as well. So to read about the past of my bike click this link to sohc4.

I just worked a flathead under the lip on the bottom side of the chrome band and worked my way around un-crimping it enough to slide it up and off over the top. To re crimp it I used a pair of plaits with the griping surfaces wrapped in duct tape (as to not damage the chrome) I just squeezed the ring closed again working my way around the circumstance of the gauge. Worked great for me

Got my parts back from polisher today and installed them. Built wheels, everything is looking good but in the all balls rear wheel bearing kit seems to have the wrong inner diameter.
