One of the nicest 400's I've seen. Did you make the tank/seat yourself? Steel or fibreglass? Like the custom triple tree too.

Stunning. The seat and tank combo is very nice. Like Tim, I'd like to hear more on the tank. Also, did you make the seat yourself?

yeah, i love the tank seat combo, with the old school ford taillight. very sharp.... hows the ride without rearsets?

Thanks for the compliment. :D
The tank and seat are made of polyester.
The tank is a EGLI tank, which didn't fit on the bike.
So it had to be fitted.
It took me some days to complete it....never again.... :D
The seat is a custommade by a former racedriver here in Holland.
To make the seat fit on the bike, I welded a seatpan and costumized the seat.

A few weeks ago I found a rearset on Ebay for a CB350 and CB400.
I fitted on the bike, but didn't liked it. Maybe I'm just to short for a rearset. ::)
I think of selling the set.

Is that a VW key? if so that's awesome.

Sharp eyes Goldberg2363, The key is indead a VW key.
The key works, the buttons on the key don't. But that's because there is no doorlocking system on my bike ;D

Because I made the tail and seatpan myself, I took the time to make an compartment for tool and lock:
I've used the original hinge for the seatpan.

Man that bike is sweet - love the color! Orange just makes it look like its ready for the track. The EGLI tank is awesome and a great conversation piece. Now you just need one of his Vincent's to complement your EGLI Honda ;D

call me crazy but i actually like the two tone silver black instead of the orange. how much were you thinking of getting rid of those rearsets for? by the way, your hinge is seamless. i normally dont like it when people use that, but yours has a really low profile... good job indeed!

also, can you take some more ass end shots? i have a simular ford rear end light and i was thinking of mounting it the same way....

I wish I had more to add but everything relevant has been said, so I'll parrot everyone else:

Beautiful bike! I love the orange paint too, very bold!

i'm quoting you because we need pics of the bike on page 2;
