Ok... so this just goes to show me that I shouldn't get "creative" before a cup-a-joe in the morning. Taking a second look at the Repsol one, I realizes I didn't even look at the repsol bike except for colors... I suck!

I didn't go crazy with isolating the wheels, But your get the idea. I was thinking orange lips, if you had some DID high shoulder rims.

ok so it seems im gonna have some extra dough next week to powder coat my wheels....im gonna go with the rc30 inspired design i was thinking of white for the rims to keep true to the rc30 theme but im second guessing myself now.....any input anyone?

rc30 is cool, but I think the second repsol that BCB did looks ssssssssick. If youre really set on the rc30 though, def go with white rims. Race reps always walk that thin line between awesomeness and pure tackiness, and I think the white rims fit just perfectly.

cbr1000rr repsol is by far my favorite out of any of the new bikes...but i just dont think the repsol theme works well on this bike so im gonna stick with the rc30 theme. so white rims huh? polished hubs and stainless spokes with brass nipples? im gonna be venting the rear hub as well

bumping an old thread lol......my foot is healed enough to start working on her again so i started on it again today. i will try my hardest to post pics up tomorrow afternoon.

my plan is to get my frame inside tomorrow and mock up my rearsets then scothbrite it and get it ready for paint so i can paint it once my spray booth is finished (waiting for the motor for the fan)

in the mean time ive been cleaning the castings on the lower forks polishing some more and something with my petcock which i discovered (not sure if anyone else has discovered it yet but im sure a lot will once i post it up.) anyways.......back to the basement to get my polish on.

just finished polishing my petcock..... heres a quick iphone picture. as i was saying i was working on something special that ive never seen before....well look at the nut that attaches it to the tank. after a little bit of sanding i figured out that it was actually made of brass, so i sanded the entire thing and polished it as well. i think it looks killer.

back to the fork lowers ;D
