Wow, that's beautiful! Love the seat, does it have the ribs or is it flat like the first pic? I need a header with long primaries that hug the frame like yours. What are the specs? Tell us more!

thanks mate,I wasnt happy with any of the seats apart from the one in the first pic,the capacity of the engine is 1015 or 1045 or something ,I cant remember, the motor was rebuilt about 22 years ago and the bike sat idle for about 18 until last year when I decided to resurect the 'ol girl,in went new brake seals ,fork seals, new battery ,fresh oil and fuel and away she went, very happy with that, recently I've put in an APE clutch pack and looking into getting a 530 chain conversion to get rid of the power sapping 630 and I've got a Dyna ignition and hydraulic clutch to go on too.Heres a few pics .

Man that looks really nice! Can definitely tell it was many many hours of cleaning and polishing.

So it appears from the last pick that the bottom triple clamp is a slightly modified top clamp. That's neat! I assume that came from a desire to cut weight?

Love the bike, it's got a spectacular stance though personally I wish the tail were a bit shorter though I know that's absolutely period perfect. I really dig the tank, in my mind that's as good as they get..

not sure about the weight saving, most probably a cost saving thing, why tool up for different parts when one will do the job of two.

I like the speedometer. what kind is it and where did you get it? bike looks awesome.
gday mate ,the speedo is an after market generic brand by MCS,it is cable driven and has all the warning lights(i'll get around to wiring it up one day) I also have a rev counter too and looks so much neater than the Z1 originals not to mention a whole lot lighter.Cheers Ken.
