2. What did you end up doing with the original subframe & tailend?

Taht's a homebuilt stainless exhaust with crappy baffles that sent my jetting to hell. The original tail (when I got the bike) was an r1 piece....Litterally a piece, it was just a molded fiberglass race tail NFG.. And the subframe was welded by the previous owners 3 year old...Good for scrap.

What tires are you running?

The rear is a shenko..... The cheapest tire on the market. Crap for sure, but I must say I never had an issue with it and I would certainly buy another one. I don't ride too aggressively and like 120 bucks for a tire that size is good. ;D

I love your old Fighter! I WANT one!! Is it a mid to late eighties Gixxer? 750 or 1100? That's what it looks like to me, but I'm not an expert on these babies!

I really want to build a Fighter out of a 1200 Bandit with Gixxer running gear upgrades. I love the 'all motor' muscular look of a stubby Figher!

Gotta sell off some stuff before I can make that happen though! :'(
