My first bike, a 72 CL350

Picked this up over the summer from a very kind vintage racer in MA.

Replaced stock bars with Bikemaster superbike in black and the handling is soooo much better. Also shorty shocks from DCC so I can reach the ground, hehe.

Pictures taken during a tire change, blew 3 inner tubes before I finally got it right.

Working on minimal mods to make this more cafe style. Likely a new seat, clips-ons, home made seat pad, smaller taillight, reorganized gauges and rear sets down the road. Gonna keep the fenders, side panels and rest in tact. New photos in the coming month

Cool looking bike dude. I like the aggressive color scheme and the factory decals make it look period. Good place to start. I'm assuming it runs well since you bought it from a racer. Any engine work done on it?

Love these bikes, the pipes are so damn mad max. Notice a big difference going from stock shocks to the shorties? I'm considering doing the same cause I'm a little guy on my tippy toes.

The shorties definitely helped but I had to drop the front end too to make enough of a difference. I'm about 5'7". I am adding a cafe seat or atleast a trimmer seat so that should make a big difference.
