Brown Santa showed up yesterday! Now that the major components are here, it's time to get this thing designed and built!

I've also been doing a ton of frame sanding. Decided we're probably going to go with a black frame now, due to the evil look with the heavy forks. What do you think of satin black?

Still parts hoarding as I finalize build plans. Just sent a pile of money to our friends at Cognito Moto for a conversion hub and new spokes. Should be a fun little project since I've never laced a wheel. I'm actually looking forward to the challenge. I also picked up an rfid box and a couple of relays to teach the old girl a keyless trick or two.

One of these days I'll actually start bolting this thing back together. Who knows, she just might turn heads.

New front hub and accessories came in from Cognito Moto this weekend. Quality and attention to detail look amazing. I'll post pictures in a bit. I think it's time to start assembly! These parts are starting to stack up.

So, I put in a couple of hours in the garage today and got some mocking up done. Was nice turning wrenches again. It's been too long.

After a couple on unsuccessful stab attempts and more than a few choice words, I tried the whole 'bring the frame to the engine' thing. Worked the charm.

Then threw on the fork, swing arm, pegs, exhaust, and tank, then proceeded to make motorcycle noises until my wife told me to come up and do things.

Next up will be wheel lacing, bracket fab, electronics/wiring mount fab, lights, etc. still a long way to go but cool to see it starting to shape up.
