So here is my first attempt at making a seat pan/seat. This is what is done so far until i get it lightly padded and wrapped in leather. What do you think?

Thanks.

Im throwing it on an 82 GS450L that im turning into a Bobber/Brat bike but with a sporty look. Well, gonna try at least. If i comes down to it, im going to Brat/Bob it but keep it where i can turn it into a Cafe in the future unless i can find another project bike to Cafe and keep this one Bobbed.

After tearing this thing apart i have quite a few spare parts i can use for the Cafe build.

IDK. We will see how things go.

Here is what i started with.

Thanks Madd! Yeah i just can't decide if i want to wrap it in leather or if i just want to grind it down and leave it out over a few nights to rust and then clear coat it just for that rustic look.

What do you guys think?

JoeBob.

Well imagine the bike with a lower rear end, stripped down to as close to bare bones as i possibly can, with a roughed up looking black semi gloss paint job with .38 rounds punched in the sides of the tank. Oh and i am going to rust up the fenders.

I am going for kind of an old western style "Steel Horse" Theme. Or like a post apocalyptic look.
