One question for y'all. All the sudden, after 3 kicks I only get a massive backfire and gas pouring out my carbs. About to grab my manual take the carbs apart but I always appreciate any advice!

Where is gas coming out?

I don't think the wiring is affecting your carbs, but swapping the points wires will definitely give you a massive backfire (after kicking several times).

OR if youre really unlucky like me: bent intake valves :'( :'( :'( causing pressure leak and sending fuel back out through the carbs
hope thats not the case
