My Harley cafe/street fighter!

Whatever you wanna call it, here it is. 2006 Dyna street bob.

Getting some bar end mirrors soon.. The bars are going to be cut some, as they are to wide for the look I want. They are 32" and I'm going to cut 2 1/2" on each side soon enough. The seat won't be staying long. Buddy and I are going to farbricate a whole new ass end that will elimate the current seat and fender. So that will be wicked cool once its done, but it will be a while. Anyway, here she is as she stands now.

DAMN that's looking good. The changes you're going to make will definitely improve it's look.

Do you have a build thread for this in another forum?

Thanks man! No build thread. Its just been a daily riding bike that I work on when I can. Not much really has been done to it as far as heavy modification goes. Mostly bolt on stuff with a little bit of fabbin' and a lot of working (just converted to mid controls.. had to pull out primary, chain, clutch, all that good stuff..)

Dang.. no other love for the harley?!

Would it help if I said that I've put 25,000 miles on it in 1 year and 8 months?! :)

I don't want to bash, because I like some Harleys, especially ones that lack all the chrome.

However, they are big bikes that are design to fit a style over low riding rearward slung seating position that gives them a chopper-ish look without the huge forks. It's incredibly difficult to mimic the "cafe" styling in such a bike.

Now if you could somehow straight frame the bike and raise it a little, it might achieve that cafe style look.

I'd call your bike more of a chop/bob fighter than a cafe.

Aside from description I'd say it's a pretty nice looking bike. I should look into tank mounted gauges...

I like it. Call it what you want.
There is a bunch of people who think Harleys suck even though they've never owned or road one, don't pay any attention to them.

its a nice harley, there just isnt anything particularly "cafe" or "streetfighter" about it.

still a nice harley, kudos for steering away from the bling.

Adrian what up man! i dig it, but a cafe or even bratt style seat would be wicked on there... i am thinking brat style with shuttle fender (like bosken did) bratt style would allow you to keep the style, not cut the fender rails, and still rock something diff
