i picked up a free rolling cl175 today....what a way to start the new year!!
alot of stuff is missing like the motor for one but i'm ok with that....give me a good starting point.

this is how i got the bike

i'm thinking about sand blasting today but i have some cleaning to do in the house so hopefully tomorrow i'll sand blast the frame and swing arm and put the swing arm and frame back together.

had a few questions.
what should i do with my forks other then change the oil and seals....is it worth looking into better forks?? i'm going to be putting a cr500 engine in this poor frame but i will be beefing it up to handle the added power.
just so everyone knows this is just going to be a around the town fun bike that i will take to bike night so i dont care that the cr500 will have poor street manners.

are there any forks from other years that would bolt right up?

time to work on the fork to finish off the night

Since you have it apart that far I would go ahead and replace the springs. That way you won't have to worry it later.
