Hancock, you are probably right. But years of growing up around old stupid domestic four wheel machines has impacted me. Me and my father were talking about this and we decided it would not be workable on a 2 stroke, as he's got a little RD125 with problem carbs. As a whole, I am not worried about the mixtures. For good measure though, I will go and get a infrared temp thing and check the outside of the pipes after running. Sure, it's not 100% positive, but I'm not stuffing dual EGT's into the exhaust piping. But I'll say this, I've dealt with carbs that were unhappy or not playing nice with the one next to it, and this bike does not ride like it. For whatever that is worth.
Seat, the cover is teck screwed into the underside of the pan. I promise, today, I'll get some pictures of it off the bike. And it'll all make sense.
cretin, as mentioned above, it runs very well with one carb. I'll try to get some video of it so you guys can see what I mean. I think that is the only way I can truly send this message about how the bike runs. And when you ask about making an intake for a dual setup, what do you mean by that? One like I built for mine? Or something else? And pertaining to the seat. I might be able to make one up. Sort of a difficult thing as mine was made specifically for the bike, fits it absolutely perfect and I'm not 100% sure if it would work for you. But I could build something similar for you most likely...keep you updated..
