So I went to look at it yesterday, and I'm happy to say it'll be coming home with me next week, as soon as I can trailer it home. I'm in love.

It tends to foul the plugs under heavy loads. It also needs a new speedo, so if any of you find some awesome stash of Hawk parts, let me know. I also wouldn't mind an original engine. It could use tires, too. However, the bath is definitely the first item of business. The chrome is gonna shine right up. Second item of business is to put low bars on it like the early Hawks.

A beautiful bike. I would fill that tank with premium, bag those carbs, and oil that chain. Then stash it in the shed for 10 years.

Unfortunately, due to a bunch of sudden, really expensive home repairs, I'm not actually taking delivery of this bike. I'm pretty depressed about it. Feel free to send me beer.
