Little hard to hear, yeah, but i heard it in there, especially when you revved it. Real nice tone. Love the sound of that triple.

I'm really digging the headers. They really turned out nice and the muffler sounds great. Cops probably won't even hassle you too bad. Gonna be a good Summer man.

Edit: Except Crescent. He'll probably hassle you.

looks good man. I think i heard you goin home last night after i got off the phone with ya, i was in the garage and heard someone rippin around. If that was you that thing sounds rad!

I'll bet it was... It does sound good in person. Very aggressive, yet quiet. In fact it's quieter than stock @ idle or when cruz'n. When ya crack the throttle though, all hell breaks loose, ha ha... It's been pretty fun.

I'm going riding with Tyler and his bro on Sat. You should come! bring the SV... ya?

ya... Assuming it's not raining... you should come.

Nice sound out of that tripple. Wow, tripples really put out a whole different tune . Sorta like a coffee percolator.
I am really digging your stock front fender, I think I'm gonna look for one to adapt it on one of my bikes.

Mmmm. Last time I watched that vid of the headers I was using the shitty speakers in my laptop. Have some good speakers plugged in now and happened to play it again. Yep, she sounds gooooood.

Where'd you stumble upon that exhaust? Sounds great btw

I found it @ my local salvage yard. It was in pretty crappy shape, but no dents or holes. So I sanded the crap out of it and used some VHT flame proof paint. Baked it in the oven. I paid $30 for it.

dang, I'm jealous. I'm debating whether or not to lose my 3-2 system, or just replace my mufflers which are shoot.

Ya, I've been debating on cutting my stockers open. I'm really curious to see if they even took the time to design the muffles different...? If they are the same, you could only imagine how that could F-up performance. Two cylinders sharing one muffler, one having it's own. very un-balanced set up.

I can tell you that after jetting for the 3-1 Yosh header, the performance and throttle response was greatly improved. Motor revs nearly twice as quick!

Where are you located? I would be more than willing to ship you my stockers if you were to pick up the shipping.

So for you xs750 owners, here is my jetting set up. Keep in mind I'm in Boise Idaho and the elevation here is 2,730 ft. So you may need t make adjustments for your elevation.

XS750, w/ 3-1 w/ slip-on can, Makuni II's and ebay pods (yuck! the pods will be changed for some Uni foam filters. If there are adjustments needed again I will update this)

Main Jet: 152.5 (stock 130)
Pilot Jet: 52.5 (stock 42.5)
Needle: 3rd form top/or middle (one and the same) (stock: 2nd position)
idle mixture screw: outboard carbs 1 1/4 turns out. Center carb 1 turn out.

Hope this helps. I know I searched the net for what the normal jetting was for header and pods and came up nearly empty handed.

StopBreakingDown and I went for a little ride around town today. Took a quick snap shot before I left. She's a dirty mo-fo. I've done almost 800 miles on it since I bought it 3 weeks ago.
