It might be interesting to see who can work out what sort of bike this is, first one to guess most accurately (this might include what parts are from what, or where, to make a more complete and competitive answer, including what colour the disc carriers are when at speed) wins a prize, which would be a set of six prints of drawings of classic race bikes, I did some years ago.

Mark - giving away a fine piece of art never contravenes any rules - especially if one happens to make its way to Toronto ;)

Seriously - nice drawing. I've been contemplating taking up my pencil again to re-interpret a photo taken of me at Deals Gap. Was this one based on a photograph? Nice detail on the engine and the wrinkles in the leathers.

Contravean any forum rules?.. hell no... ( As long as I win!!..LOL...)

Ok my guess:

the guages look to be a PDA display

no idea but it is def a sick ride... AMAZING drawing! i want it for my shop! but think Leon takes the cake today

I agree with Noel on the Suzuki part however it's older than 04 for sure, prob a 2002, the frame is too tubular.

And colour of disc carriers when on the move: Purple (Magenta, haha) !?

Bonus? eBay amber blinkers... had the same for my cafe project and didn't like them on it, so put them back on eBay!
thats my guess... still unsure on a few

Fairing and headlight are Aprilia RS250, bike is 01 Suzuki SV650, front end is GSXR something....the rest I don't know.....

Some right answers and some wrong answers, it's whoever gets the most right in one post that will win. A slightly better view of the instraments, one unit that tells a lot of things: RPM speed Gs HP Torque 1/4mile lap times, plugged into a PC produces detailed graphs, its brilliant, Canadians should know?

ps not an RC51 wheel

different exhaust on the last picture?

oh, and edit to my original... (check up)

this is kinda fun!

rear wheel is ....F3 honda??? anyways I guess the bike in your print a 4 cylinder MV Agusta,,,,,so do I win!!!!!

Todd if you fill out the whole list and are sharp enough to borrow everyone elses 'correct' answers and then add details like what type of bike's in the print you hit the lead unless someone also identifies more detail like the rider in the drawing; hint: John '.............' Silverstone April, 1959, or identifies extra detail such as the type of steering damper on the Yellow bike, then they score higher. However that can be a two edged sword, because to be fair any wrong answers will be deducted from your correct answers. This is fun making up rules as we go, (the way I like to play most games really). Hint on rear wheel...'not yet.' Most experts on these bikes say this wheel won't fit, but with the right mods it fits very well.
Another hint on aftermarket muffler there are brands made in different nations the #plate identifies a state within the nation where this muffler was made, brand name related to native animal.

Okay it's Sir John Surtese,,,,,,,,I guess I don;t win,,,,I own A 2000 SV S suzuki...all I did was strip the warning labels off it and jam on 45k without any service,,,(sprokets)70 k plus is not uncommon before you have the man do the shimmin!!,,,,,,,I'll probably wait until it hits 80k,,,,,,,,nice prints!!! an sv only needs a good rear shock, front springs and emulators for the damping,,,,$$$$$$,,,mine is still stock ::)

Ok I've got the print set out ready to post, there are six different bikes and riders.
If you want to refine your entrys do it in the next couple of days and the winner will be announced.

Rear disc: Galfer wave rotor
Instruments: Veypor
Headlight: Aprillia RS250
Fairing: Aprillia RS250
Muffler: Made by Devil exhaust

I love the way you hid the custom hi-beam, oil , signal indicator lights under the windshield, I almost missed them there.
Rider doing 270kmh: Valentino Rossi
Airplane: F.E.2b , a wooden, two-seater pusher biplane. (I don't know why there are 4 pilots)
The print of John Surtees on the MV looks great, could you post more pics of your prints.

Ok this is the last chance to give it your best shot, points may be given for creativity, and there is definitely oportunity for improvement with some answers still incorrect, come Friday a winner will be anounced and upon recieving a postal address, one set off six prints will be posted to the highest scoreing entrant anywhere in the world. Prints are of 1950's race bikes and riders, Manx Norton, Matchless 500 twin, Gilera, MV agusta, BMW, and Moto guzzi, even signed by the artist, and you can be pretty sure none of your friends will have a set of these.
There is not enough photos on here so two additional oportunities from my photo bucket to gain extra points; Identify this rider. I took this with my wife's camera and at this particular spot I would guess he's doing about 270KPH or 170MPH at least so was pretty pleased with having him in the frame.

What is this, and why are there 4 pilot officers on one plane? Fast bikes can be exciting but the thought of going into the air in this would be a bit more than I'd want. Though my great uncle on far left survived it.

since he said valentino rossi, im going to go with Colin Edwards.

and thats a cool FE-2B biplane, that thing had a .303 front mounted machine gun front and center, and aft and forth. those things got shot down like crazy. one of the first american aces supposedly flew with the RAF in WW1 in one of those things. it took 5 people to man that thing. pilot, mechanic, and three gunners.
