My other project

jayfromjay

If it don't hit the ton, well it aint no fun!
So along with building the CB400 I'm working on a long term project. My brother had this KL250R rolling around in my garage so I decided to convert it to a cafe. The stock 250 motor was blown so after I helped the shed farmer up the road he gave me a motor he had kicking around. It's a 2000 ninja 250 motor with not to many miles on the clock(the one we swapped for only had 5k!) and now I'm gonna jam it in this frame and make a moto cafe. Kinda Roland Sands type of bike with out the monster budget. Stay tuned!

it should be. This one is a long term build. The Ninja motor don't really want to go into that chassis, but once its in I think it will scoot right along.

Staying Tuned!,

With a diminishing supply of '70s CB350's, CB400's. We are all getting more creative with are Cafe Build bases, Including Enduros, Dirts and oh yea CM400s & CB400t's

After I saw some of Roland Sands bikes in Cafe mag a few months back I called my brother and asked him what hes was gonna do with the thing that had been in my garage for 2 years and he said' I just scored a GS750 and a 250 Ninja, you can have it!" so that was the seed. I just lucked into the Ninja motor as my buddy up the street had an 89 given to him with a great 5k mile motor and he bought the red '00 for $200.00 cuz the kid thought he blew the motor. We swapped them over and I ended up with the '00 motor which just had a case of loose rocker lock nuts! I think that little motor turning 14k in that stripped chassis will be a hoot! I pulled the front down about 2" and once the CB400 is a runner i'm gonna get back on this one.
