Well after starting to form the metal, I decided nah not for me. Then I looked on this board for a while and saw the fiberglass option and got the wheels turning. So I spent a few days coming up with how I would start this. I initially started with "Great Stuff" can foam, but I got to impatient and started carving a bit too early. When I have a vision I am very impatient to make it reality, I know, I know, "patience is a virtue". Anyway, cutting the foam to early kinda screwed me and I didn't want to start all over so I decided on a thin layer of bondo. The shape held somewhat even after cutting the foam in its curing stage but this thin layer of bondo I am convinced will help get me a nice mold for the glassing.
Oh did I mention I have never glassed before? That is another reason for the bondo. I have a feeling I will be doing it more then once.....
Mind you the mold or "plug" is not yet finished, still working on it.
ooh my balls! man tht is going to be a ball crusher while your ride man... you may want to add about 6 to 8 in into the middle... dig the front lip and bump shape though... very nice... just going to bust your balls wiht that set up and clubmans... not to mention not give you much room to move around while you are riding... great start though!

Yea I may have to ride with a jock strap on HA! I wanted to do something a bit different and i think the hump is gonna really look nice when I finish it. I have actually thought about some nice foam padding for the front and upholster it and attach it to the fiberglass part.....Hmmmm
I have to give all of the props to you for the spray foam idea though. I saw it in your build thread and the wheels began to turn....
