my take sportster cafe racer build in the uk

Great looking bike. Some things may work better but personal taste is why we build our own. I just have to say my jaw dropped when I saw the welds. damn that's good....

that exhaust is a work of art.....
cant wait to see this thing finished.......

ur thinking of supercharging it too yeah??

thanks for all the comments 8) im not far off now .building frames as got in the way .but im back on to the build now .

put real tires on it
put the rearsets somewhere that will allow you to control the bike properly
make sure you put the kickstand on the right side unless you only plan on filling the tank 3/4
I'm hoping you plan on getting real rear shocks and respringing and revalving the forks for what's probably a much heavier bike than they came from?
also note that where your shocks mount is further to the fulcrum than normal, and will require a proportionally stiffer sprung and damped shock
not to sound like a dick, but shiny isn't all that does it for me anymore... i live in a world of shiny

I know this is old, but I could'nt agree more. I dont think your giving the motor enough respect by running those tires, and that geometry. IMO which doesnt count, out side of a good ol' conversation.
