My XL125 custom seat

I wanted to mod my honda and I really needed a custom seat because I didn't have the original seat for the bike anyway.
Last summer a friend of mine fabricated a seatpan out of bamboo sheets (he also makes longboards and skateboards).
This "plank" has been laying around forever and last week an other friend of mine who repairs windsurfing gear and sails and stuff
was finally able to make the seat for me.

It's almost 100% done and he has only been working on it for about 2 hours.

So this was the plank that was on there

And this is what we came up with (note that this is the first seat he has ever done.

All we need to do is finish up the front but it's already so much better than what I had on there.
Not perfect but I'm very happy and the seat only cost me about 20 euro's so far

I love these xl125, but are so hard to find around here :'( :'(

Where are you from because over here in Holland you never see them either. Before last year 125cc wasn't even a something you would buy because you were allowed to drive bikes with alot more horsepower. Than the EU started to ruin it and now we have european license rules. So I have to drive this till I turn 24, that's in novermber but I think I'll hold on to it for a bit ^^

Looks good, if that is your mates first attempt he is doing well! I have an xl250 that I am doing at the moment. Still trying to decide what length to make the seat. Yours gives me a good reference. Cheers
