Please see picture below. Anybody recognize the long tank that is on this bike? Is it a stock Honda tank? From what bike/year?

Looks like a 76-78 cb750f tank.

The leading edge of the tank's tunnel has a different profile to the CB750 tank. Looks like it was extended by a cut and shut at the back end.

Comment above saying it's '78 model tank is probably right, see attached pic.

Pretty sure it's not modified at all, besides the lack of paint. Zoom in on that pic of the 78 you posted, it's got the same edge, just harder to see with the paint.

Whatever it is, its hooked to a heavy, slow, hipster hunk of shit. with shit tires bent forks and a three hundred lbs rear hub. o and the front calipars are in front of the fork : and there is no fork brace. But its got stacks with no mud guard haha so its must be a "racer"
