Hi all,

I'm looking for a rear master for an XS 650. Really all I need is the little plastic elbow that goes from the master to the reservoir, mine got broken when the bike tried to eat my taillight and license plate.

Thanks!

hey Greg.. can you post up a pic of the piece that you need?
I cant picture it.. I thought all XS650's were a drum rear brake!!..

This is the best pic I can get at the moment.

You can't see it well, but it's the plastic elbow going into the hose with the clamp on it.

XS's with mag wheels had rear disk brakes.

I"ll go look in teh garage for you later on today..
My 83 XS650 with the mags has drum rear brakes!!

Hey Noel, did you get a chance to see if you had an extra master lying around? Even if it's from a different bike we may be able to get it to work for me.

Thanks!

Pretty sure it's still available from Yamaha as they use it on various current models.
Definitely have a spare MC for GS500, I'll see if that would fit
If not, I think I have a spare for XS, will check tomorrow after physical therapy

Sorry man.. Id take that part with you and goto Ontario Cycle Salvage on Kingstong Rd close to the Beaches.. Im sure they've got to have something!!

Thanks for looking. I'm going to hit up a couple of the used bike places in town.
