I'm in Ohio. I got my '59 Cushman three-wheeler at an auction w/ no title. I did some research through a friend at the Title Office and found out which states don't require titles on older vehicles. Georgia was one of them. I got a guy who worked at my company living in Georgia to write me a letter/bill of sale. I took it to a car dealer friend who did the "inspection" which consisted of his verification that the serial (vin) number on the chassis matched the number in the letter. The inspection form and the bill of sale went to the Title Office and I walked away w/ a valid title for a '59 Cushman three-wheeled motorcycle. ;D

im also curious to see what happens with this. ive ditched a few good projects because the bmv refused to give me any helpful info..
i know in california it was fairly easy to do lien sale paperwork and get a title, but it doesnt seem to be as east out here..
