Need a Welder!!... Where's Anne ??.. LOL!!!

Hey all,

Im looking for anyone who can help me out...
I want to have my centerstand & sidestand cut and chopped by 1.5-2 inches and rewelded to facilitate the fact that my bike is lowered by 2 inches.

With the OEM side stand height, (and the fact the bike is lowered), it stands to upright for my liking, and trying to put it on the centerstand is like wrestling a bull...

I found a chopped center & side stand on ebay but its for a DOHC cb750.

Any help would be appreciated!!

You sure those other stands won't fit? First, lose the centre stand altogether - WAY too heavy to lug around with you.

Adam (AC) might be able to do the stands - I know they can do the welding. Bring me the stands and details of what you want done and I can take it up to him for a quote this week.

Or perhaps one of the friendly members here wants to practice their welding skills? Not sure I'd trust my bike's ability to stand upright to anything but a professional job though.

I did my homework and the DOHC & SOHC stads are very different.
I have another set of Centre & Side stands coming, so I'll swing by as soon as I get them and see how much Adam will charge to chop.

its paul ..i am tssa certified for pipewelding and have done boilers tanks and structural work in ALL materials except magnesium ..... if you need welding why not get a member to do it for you on the cheap
