Need expertise in finishing up seat

Been Around the Block
Almost done just a few finishing details I need help with.

1. I'll need to glue foam to pan as the foam is really firm and the seat is upswept. Spray adhesive seams to be pricey, any other good alternatives. If not I'll stick to 3m spray.

2. Also what can be used to sand/shape foam.

Thanks in advance

Re: Need expertise in finishing up seat

3.i used an electric bread knife to cut and shape the foam.
I outlined the shape i wanted and little by little i cut away the foam.
For 'sanding' the foam i got a great tip by a forum member.
I took the lid off a jar (metal) and used a steel nail amd drove it trough the lid like 50 times in order to get a round 'file' the shave off and smoothen the foam.worked great.
Maybe i find some pics for you.

Re: Need expertise in finishing up seat

Bread knife worked wonders, undercut a bit but I'll go over it again.

Jar lid fits the budget well compared to an upholstery rasp. Give it a try.
