Need Gloves that FIT...Please help

So here is my deal, I can't fit into medium gloves and Large are just right but the fingers are too long. By about 1/4 to 1/2 in most cases. I have wide hands but short fat fingers. I'm sure others have similar issues. If so, where did you buy your gloves. Any help will be apreciated. I'm tired of going to bike shops and trying on gloves to no avail. It's always, this is all we have, sorry, and i gte stuck wearing my leather safety/construction gloves.

If anyone can give me the brand and size that might fit me I will be very grateful.

I don't know if it's the same (and I'm not trying to sound like a smart-ass), but have you tried women's gloves?

Whenever I buy golf gloves, the best fitting ones are womens gloves (mens gloves are too long in the fingers).

I feel your pain. I just picked up my special order X-X-X-L gloves today. I have room at my finger tips but one size down and I can't open my hand to reach the levers. I'm not even that big (6'1" 185lbs). I have the same problem with snowboarding gloves, they always split open across the palms no matter how big they are.

alpinestars are the only gloves that fit me, besides kid's gloves. maybe their mens gloves run a bit smaller, too?
rev-it also makes really nice gloves (and everything else)

it might sound weird to people, but have you tried Wal-Mart? I've had 2 pais of gloves from there. Last year, I bought a L/XL, but the fingers were actually a bit too short, sounds like they may be right for you, they were "Bell" gloves. This year, the gloves I bought fit just fine. Both have reinforced palms, black leather. so as long as your not looking for knuckle armor, they should be fine.

This guy does custom EVERYTHING. He is making a copy of my grandfathers old motorcycle coat from the 50's to fit me as we speak. Send him a picture of what you want, the dimensions of your hand as specified in the order form and your set!

Most of his stuff is manufactured out of India but that being said it is TOP NOTCH and his customer service top notch.

I got this 3:10 to Yuma jacket from him. Top quality and great to deal with.

Tried that, but even the xl womens gloves are not wide enough for my palms.

Go: I've tried the alpine stars as well. No go on that Go

I am currently using walmart gloves, the ones in the gloves section fit me good, but I don't know if they would take a spill very well.

I might have to grab a pair of gloves from Walmart after all and reinforce them my self...add extra leather here and there, etc.... Thank you guys for the tips. And that link for the custom gloves.

I will say this alpinestars run very small... check out http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/StoreFront.bok They do videos on almost every product to tell you how they fit... pretty goof info i think. I know its not everyones style, but I have a pair of Alpinestars SP1 gloves and they are amazing... but when it comes to gloves nothing beats a HELD. I have had a few pairs of HELD's and they are so comfortable and really tough. They are also pretty pricey

I don't know if this will help, but I had a similar problem fitting gloves. I found a set of ICON Tarmac V2.0 gloves that I love! I got mediums, that were tight (almost too tight) but I bought them anyway. They streched nice after about a week of decent use. I love them now, they are like taylored gloves! You may want to try buying medium and just wear the hell out of them to stretch them. Mine are light gloves though as I am in a very temperate climate. Good for only summer ridding to you I would think. Good luck

Wow, Brandon, Those Icon gloves are soooo SAWEET. and only $35. Too bad everyone is SOLD OUT. LOL ;D

I saw a set at Walmart the other day, and they are the same a buddy of mine has. They are gray in color and they make a M/L Medium/Large sized pair and it fits perfect. Kind off the way you described your ICONS, but now after seeing the ICONS, I want a pair sooo bad..

Thanks

They are sweet gloves, I have a burn hole in one, but I love them so much! I may start looking for a new pair to replace them soon, I have had these over three years! Maybe more!
