Need help disassembling an old Yamaha headlight!

I bought this headlight for a Yamaha DT125 MX from ebay a while back and I spent a good hour trying to remove the trim ring but something was holding in there tight! Anybody have an idea on how to do so?

I was also wondering if anyone knew of a good conversion for the wimpy RP30 bulb?

Should be a flat head screw on lower left side.
When its out you pry that side and lift off clip opposite

Thats what I expected it too be but all it has is a single phillips at the bottom. It is some chinese repro so it could be different then a standard Yamaha headlight.

Perhaps, its a twist kind of thing. Remove screws then twist the head.

I'll give that a try when I get home, but that thing sure seems to be on there.

Remove screw and pry it off, it's a spring fit.
There will be a 'lip' at the top

I tried both methods but still no luck, I'll take it to work tomorrow where I keep the good tools! I think I should be able to wrestle it off.
