need help with battery

Hi,

i have a xs750 that i am trying to relocate the battery to the seat hump,but am WAY confused on the whole thing about ah,amp,etc. The battery i have now for the bike is a 12volt 12ah,but it is huge. I have read the other threads about what is important about the battery replacment so i am wondering if this one will work. I am using the starter and the turnsignals and tail light. thanks!

ringo, the battery i am looking at is only 5.75x3.5x3.5 and the stock battery is 5.75x6.25x3.5 so the replacement is smaller and eaiser to hide. I am just wondering if the volt and AH would be the same and if anyone has a battery like this before. Thanks again

Gotcha. I probably should have scrolled down and looked at the dimensions huh!

All I can say is if you are planning on using the starter motor, you might have to stick with stock size/amps. If you go kick only, the possibilities are endless.

And going back and rereading the specs on that battery again, :, I think you might be okay. It's 12V, 12AH, and 246CCA which is pretty damn good. Might keep this one in mind for my next build...
