Im assuming it dosent. I havent called the guy. I was thinking I could talk him to 400 and buy a set of dyna electronics.

$500 a good deal, and sure you can try to talk him down (it does say obo). If it's got something major wrong with it that you don't want to deal with, you can part it out and likely make a little money (depending on condition of exhaust, tank, gauges, wheels, fenders, brakes, switches, chrome, etc.). Not much of a gamble considering these things.

That bike wouldn't last a day where I'm at, or where I moved from, and since it's OBO you can always offer less. "Watching it" in this case likely means watching it get taken away by someone else.

You'd best grab it if you want it. $500 won't get you a rolling chassis where I live. If I had the gas money I'd be heading north right now to bring it home. I used to live where CC does, that ad would have run for 5 minutes before somebody grabbed that bike. SOHC 750s in the Seattle area are worth serious coin.
