need rear shocks

Yamatech

Two wheels, one love.
I have a 1981 cb400t. I'd like a set of rear shocks, something preferably around the $100 range. I'd like to keep the stance as low as possible.

Check these out, I've been running them on the track with a little bit of tuning. just copy and paste

Yamatech, does the 1981 cb400t have the clevis to clevis shocks still? (if you don't know what that is it's a U shaped connector at both ends - go have a look it'll make sense)

If it does then you're lookin at slim pickins pal, stock length for a 78 cb400t (I own one) is a tad over 13"

I've found these to be the least expensive replacement option at $85:

about half way down the page they list 330mm clevis to clevis

Or try the guys at dimecitycycles.com they may be able to get a set for ya.

Good luck,

edit: woohoo! this was my hundredth post

They do have the clevis to clevis, do they offer anything slighter shorter or is the 335 all they have? I couldnt find any smaller.

I have the rear shocks for a 78'cb400t. I'm not sure if they are the same as the 81'. You can have em for $50 if they fit.
