I have a 75 cb360, on the way to work this morning the right cylinder started missing, I finally made it to work and while the bike was still running I pulled the wire and put it back on just to see which cylinder it was and nothing happened, ten kicks later I had the bike running again and pulled the left and it died.

Does this sound like a coil? Where is the best place to get it from?

Might be as simple as the spark plug.

Try switching the left and right coils / wires. If the problem follows one or the other than you know where to start.

Are the valves adjusted properly and carbs clean?

Went out on my lunch brake and started messing with the wire and the miss went away and came back and went away and came back as I was pulling the wire on and off. I think the coil is failing just not all the way shot yet.

The carbs are clean, valves adjusted, and the plugs have 200 miles on them, everything is as it should be, just won't run right.

I really dont think its the coils. How long is your ride to work? Coils start to show signs of failure after heating up (about 20 minutes) and will start to miss sparks at higher rpm's.

Unscrew you plug boots, cut off about 1/8" of the wire, and screw them back on. And make sure the contact at the outside tip of the plug is clean.

I hope that's all it is.

I didn't realize that honda stopped making the coils for these bikes. I just found a set on eBay that people are still bidding on and they are up to $203!!!

On a different note, I answered a craigslist add about 2 weeks ago saying that a guy had a bunch of old honda motorcycle parts and whole bikes that he desperately needs to sell, he's emailed me 3 times wanting me to come by and take a look, but I have no time with school, work, my garage project, and my new daughter. My bike is my only escape from everything I need to get it running again.

My ride to work is only about 10-12 min. It was also pretty cool this a.m.

He is in Charlottesville, va. It all started with me asking for a master cylinder, then he went on to say he has "ALOT" of other parts and bikes, so who really knows.
