Need some ideas for a decal - **Pics Added of Finished Product

I am wanting to have a buddy cut something to put on the sides of my battery box cover. Initially I was thinking the Yamaha tuning forks like this:

But I also like the ton-up logos I have seen floating around...but don't want to bogart someone elses design. Does anyone else have any ideas for a cool logo? Thought about the DO THE TON logo, but I know there is someone here cutting those already and I don't want to step on any toes...and really want my buddy to cut the decals for me.

Feel free to have your friend cut DTT decals - no problem at all. I can send you the hi-res artwork if you need it. Feel free to have him cut me a few too

Whatever you do, don't go having TON-UP club logos cut - you'll incur the wrath of their lawyers.

Do you really want some decals? What size you looking for and what color? Also, let me know if you still have any interest in those mufflers...I think my brother has decided to go with a different style...

no. they didnt trademark it, (discussion on some of their posts), nor do they have any lawyers, (again from some discussion on some threads),.. but they are anal about their logo so be it...

Big email on the way - 2.2MB zip attachment. Refresh my memory on the mufflers - I might be interested but can't remember which ones they were.

Is this your evil Twin's user name? LOL. They are dunstall mufflers. We had talked about them a while back. you can see pictures of them on my TX in my build thread or the show N shine thread I posted yesterday. They were on the bike when I bought it and I have since gone with shorty mufflers

Try the tuning forks in white and get rid of the circles. Just the forks inside the spade.

BTW - Carter could embroider a patch of that for you

Which one you like? I think I am still digging on the first one, but might play around with the forks idea some more later. I actually just ordered a patch from carter LOL. But, could always order another one.

Honestly, they all look great to me..
however, for a patch I think you want the forks to be a bit smaller so that the contrast between the black canvas and the white stitching would be more obvious.
I think from a distance, the forks would almost blend into the image and the spade wont be as obvious...
Almost like you want the forks to be a tad bit smaller than in this pics and a tad bit bigger than in the other pic...

I sent that last one to my friend with the vinyl cutter and he cut one to test in a 4" diameter. Said it should work out nicely!

Decals have been cut and installed. They ran about $5 a piece for 4". If anyone is interested in them, shoot me a PM and I will send you the guys email address. He did good work and can do a variety of colors. I wanted white...
