Needing HELP! Seat pan for seat cowl!

CupidsDeathDay

Been Around the Block
How do you guys go about making seat pans for cafe style seat cowls that have the ripples in them?... Not sure how to go about it...
Maybe make a mold of the the top of the seat part of the cowl and form a metal pan to it?.... Maybe I'm over thinking it...

Some ideas would be awesome!..

Here is what the seat looks like.

Fiberglass. Wrap your junk in plastic wrap (from your kitchen) so you don't get resin anywhere it's not supposed to be. Brush on resin, lay down mat, smooth out bubbles, and repeat until you have about 8-10 layers on 'glass. There are photos of the process on my build list; your pan will match the contours perfectly.

Gawd! Why didn't i think of that?... I have not been able to think straight, so thanks for the help.

I will probably see if i can get that done this next week and hopefully get something set up for the seat mounting soon! Haven't decided between a mounting block kit or if i should just do a custom metal frame mount with rubbers or something.

Thanks, Again.
